Joe Rogan contended that the protection of free speech would be significantly undermined if Vice President Kamala Harris were to defeat former President Donald Trump in November.

Rogan criticized Harris and her running companion Tim Walz for their statements regarding free speech during an appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience.

“I don’t think it turns around if Kamala Harris gets into office. I think they clamp down more,” Rogan said.

Rogan cited the Covid pandemic and the aggressive surveillance of posts about masks and other topics that were later proven to be accurate as an illustration of the extent to which social media could be regulated.

Additionally, he cited a previous statement made by Harris, in which she discussed the loss of Elon Musk’s “privileges.”

Harris advocated for the removal of Trump’s Twitter account during a 2019 debate.

“She openly discussed the need for the same rules to apply to Facebook and Twitter and the possibility that Elon Musk could lose his privileges. There are so many wild things that they are saying,” Rogan remarked.

Musk then shared the clip of Rogan, agreeing with his assessment in the process.
