During an interview with Oprah Winfrey on Thursday, Vice President Kamala Harris issued a lethal warning to intruders.

Harris stated that after Winfrey conversed with the parents of a girl who was shot and injured during the September Apalachee High School massacre.

“I think for far too long on the issue of gun violence, some people have been pushing a really false choice to suggest you’re either in favor of the Second Amendment or you want to take everyone’s guns away. I’m in favor of the Second Amendment and I’m in favor of assault weapons bans, universal background checks, red flag laws, and these are just common sense. These are just common sense.” Harris said.

“I’m a gun owner, Tim Walz is a gun owner.” Harris said

“I did not know that!” Winfrey said in response.

Harris then stated, “If somebody breaks into my house, they’re getting shot. Sorry.”

“Probably shouldn’t have said that. But my staff will deal with that later.” Harris concluded.

Harris has sometimes discussed the fact that she is a firearms owner in recent years. This news comes in spite of the fact that she has taken up a variety of anti-second amendment political positions.

According to reports, the vice president possesses a handgun that she employs for self-defense.
