Joy Reid Tries to Pin Violence on MAGA Only Days After Second Attempted Trump Assassination by Democrat Donor

Joy Reid of MSNBC asserted that MAGA is accountable for “actual violence” mere days after the Secret Service successfully thwarted a second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump.

Reid criticized Trump and others for propagating an alleged conspiracy theory regarding the abduction and consumption of pets by Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio.

Local officials have consistently denied the story, claiming that there is no evidence to support the claims.

In Springfield, Ohio, this alleged conspiracy theory has resulted in explosive threats, some of which have resulted in the closure of schools, Reid claimed.

“Guess where Trump now says he’s going to start the bloody mass deportations? Springfield. Of course. All of this as Trump faces his second brush with death via a gunman shooting at him in Palm Beach, Florida, just as happened in Pennsylvania. Neither of whom were Haitian or any immigrant. Both of whom were white, American, Trump supporting men with guns,” Reid said.

Reid subsequently asserted that his supporters targeted Trump in both assassination attempts—the most recent in Florida and the previous in Pennsylvania.

However, it is unclear what evidence Reid is using to support these claims of political affiliation.

The same argument was subsequently reiterated by Reid, who attributed “actual violence” to MAGA supporters.

As evidence of this, she cited a local Ohio sheriff in Portage County who advised residents to maintain an inventory of addresses with signs in support of Vice President Kamala Harris.

“The irony of it is that the violence, the actual violence we’re seeing comes much more disproportionately from MAGA themselves, whether it’s January 6th, whether it’s them threatening election workers, whether it’s the bomb threats coming into schools in Springfield. The violence is coming from them, from their own supporters, yet they try to portray Haitian immigrants as the people to fear.” Reid claimed.
