Two prominent allies of former President Trump are reportedly engaged in a new social media dispute regarding an allegedly racist social media post that ridiculed Vice President Harris’s Indian heritage.
This dispute has exposed some of the fault lines within the Trump’s own inner circle.
Laura Loomer, a former congressional candidate with a long history of bizarre comments, and Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R) have been involved in a verbal battle on the social platform X for months.
Greene referred to Loomer’s recent comments as “appalling and extremely racist.”
This is appalling and extremely racist. It does not represent who we are as Republicans or MAGA.
This does not represent President Trump.
This type of behavior should not be tolerated ever. @LauraLoomer should take this down. https://t.co/z9s5fZlgQi

The two Trump allies have since engaged in a heated debate on X over Loomer’s comments. Loomer referred to Greene as a “raging antisemite” and has defended her initial post as a “funny joke about Kamala Harris” that was used to avoid inquiries by referencing her Indian mother.
Loomer was observed accompanying Trump as he commemorated the anniversary of 9/11 in New York and Pennsylvania on Wednesday, which culminated in this public conflict.
