During the weekend, a young Orthodox Jewish man in New York was stabbed in the chest in the heavily Orthodox Jewish neighborhood of Crown Heights in Brooklyn by a black assailant shouting Pro-Palestinian slogans.
The perpetrator is reported to have shouted “Free Palestine” and “Do you want to die?”
Yechiel Michel Dabrowskin was stabbed by Vincent Sumpter, 22, who was accused with second-degree assault pursuant to a hate crime.
The Chabad-Lubavitch movement’s headquarters is situated in close proximity to the site of the attack.

The attacker, a Black male in his early 20s, shouted ‘Free Palestine’ and, following an exchange of words with the victim, allegedly said, ‘Do you want to die?’ before stabbing him.
According to Yaacov Behrman, Chabad’s public relations manager, local citizens were able to detain the attacker until police arrived and caught him.
