Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) directed profanities at Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle during the House Oversight and Accountability Committee hearing on Monday, which focused on the recent assassination attempt on former President Trump.

“You’re full of s‑‑‑ today. You’re just being completely dishonest,” Mace told Cheatle during the questioning.

Mace had recently inquired of Cheatle whether she had submitted all of the audio and video recordings in her possession to the House Oversight Committee, as the panel had requested.

Cheatle had responded that she would have to respond to the inquiry.

Her comment was met with some opposition from the opposing party.

Despite the fact that Mace was the most abrasive member of the panel with her questioning up to that point, her demeanor was indicative of the general frustration among the panel members regarding the absence of specific responses from Cheatle regarding the shooting.

“These are important questions that the American people want answers to, and you’re just dodging, and talking around it in generalities,” Mace said.

Earlier this month, the assassination attempt against Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, resulted in a direct injury to Trump, the death of one rally attendee, and the grievous injuries of two other attendees.

Mace also accused Cheatle of “leaking” her opening statement to multiple media entities in advance of the hearing and inquired whether this action was politically motivated.

Cheatle stated that she was unaware of the manner in which her statement was disseminated.

“That’s bulls‑‑‑,” Nance shot back in response.
