Contrary to what White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre reportedly said the same day, President Joe Biden allegedly told a group of Democratic governors on Wednesday that he saw a doctor following last week’s debate against former President Donald Trump.
According to a new report, three individuals who were privy to Biden’s secret meeting with over twenty Democratic governors, Biden told them he had been checked out by a physician following the debate and that the physician had given him the all clear.
Following his poor debate performance, some Democrats and political pundits expressed doubts about the president’s suitability and capacity to pursue his reelection campaign.
This raised concerns about the president’s meeting with the governors.

Jean-Pierre stated to CNN Senior White House Correspondent MJ Lee on Wednesday at a White House press briefing that Biden hasn’t had “any kind of medical exam” since his yearly physical in February.
“We were able to talk to his doctor about that, and that is a no,” Jean-Pierre said.
“He hasn’t had any kind of medical exam?” the reporter asked once more.
“No.” she replied.
