Donald Trump has finally broken his silence. Over the past few days, the former president and likely Republican nominee for the White House was caught on video while taking in a round of golf talking about the situation.
In typical Trump fashion, he was blunt about Biden and spared nothing in discussing Kamala Harris, Biden’s likely successor, either.
The Daily Caller writes:
In the video released by The Daily Beast, Trump is sitting in a golf cart speaking to what seems to be multiple people. The former president asks the group how they thought he did in the debate, before going on to describe Biden’s poor debate performance.
“Took [down] that old broken-down pile of crap. He’s a bad guy. He just quit you know? He’s quitting the race,” Trump said.
“Is that right?” someone behind the camera asks.
“Yep, I got him out [of the race]. And that means we have Kamala. I think she’s going to be better. She’s so bad, she’s so fucking pathetic,” Trump continues. “But can you imagine that guy dealing with Putin and the president of China who’s a fierce person? He’s a fierce man, very tough guy.”

Earlier on Wednesday, however, Joe Biden made it clear that he has no intention of dropping out of the race.
At a fundraiser in Virginia earlier in the week, Biden blamed his poor debate no the amount of foreign travel he had done two weeks prior to the meltdown.
“I decided to travel around the world a couple of times,” Biden said, according to ABC News, referring to recent trips abroad, including his visit to France for the 80th anniversary of D-Day where G7 Leaders expressed concern for his cognitive state.
“I didn’t listen to my staff,” he continued, adding he “came back and nearly fell asleep on stage.”
Biden said Tuesday he was sorry for his debate performance but stressed that winning the election was “critical.”
“It’s not an excuse but an explanation,” he continued, adding that the DNC and Biden campaign have raised millions of dollars since debate night.
Later, he met with Democratic governors and expressed the same notion.
