A big throng of pro-Israel counter-protesters reportedly rushed to demonstrate outside a synagogue and Jewish school in Los Angeles on Thursday, which was attacked by a mob of pro-Palestinian activists.
The fight began earlier Thursday, when pro-Palestinian demonstrators arrived at the school in Valley Village, a Jewish-majority neighborhood in Los Angeles’s San Fernando Valley.
A big group of pro-Israel counter-demonstrators then arrived at the school to confront pro-Palestinian campaigners.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) arrived and divided the two groups on opposing sides of the roadway.
Antisemitism is on the rise in the United States, fueled by anti-Israel and pro-Palestinian protests.
