According to a recent survey, the American populace is generally in favor of a nationwide mass deportation scheme.
A new nationwide program to deport all undocumented immigrants now living in the United States unlawfully is supported by 62% of Americans, while just 38% are against it, according to a CBS News/YouGov poll of registered voters conducted earlier this month.
Support for such a program was also shown by a number of Democratic-leaning groups, including 58% of women and those with at least a four-year college degree.
Most significantly, a startling 53% of people who identify as Hispanic say they would support the proposed scheme.
Mass deportation is now popular.
A majority of registered voters favor “a new national program to deport all undocumented immigrants currently living in the U.S. illegally,” 62-38%.

That is higher than the 47% of Black respondents who would support the program, but it is less than the 67% of White respondents who answered the same.
The survey’s findings are consistent with previous trendlines that indicate that Donald Trump, the presumed Republican nominee, is gaining support from Hispanics and that public anxiety over the condition of the country’s southern border is spreading.
