New data released on Friday revealed that President Biden’s average approval rating is lower than that of any other prior president at the same stage of their presidency.

During the president’s 13th quarter in office, which spanned from January 20th to April 19th, his job approval rating averaged at 38.7 percent.

During the same quarter, the average approval rating for former President Trump was 46.8 percent, while former President Obama’s was 45.9 percent and former President George W. Bush’s was 51 percent.

In that period, the second lowest approval rating, after Biden’s, was held by former President George H.W. Bush, with a 41.8 percent rating.

In 1956, former President Eisenhower earned the highest average popularity rating of 73.2 in his 13th quarter.

In Gallup’s most recent poll, taken in April, Biden’s approval rating was determined to be 38 percent, contributing to the overall average.
