The UN Security council has now officially passed a resolution demanding Israel immediately enter into a ceasefire in its ongoing war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
And for the first time ever the Biden administration allowed the resolution to pass without using its veto power, a move that is seen a direct rebuke to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Netanyahu had previously threatened to withdraw a Israeli diplomatic delegation from the U.S. if the veto was not used.
