Thursday, Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene condemned American airstrikes against Houthi militants in Yemen, describing the Biden administration as “completely out of control.”

Houthi leadership reported that the joint U.S.-U.K. airstrikes struck approximately a dozen targets in Yemen, killing five persons. The strikes cam as a reaction to an ongiong Houthi naval assault campaign against civilian vessels in the Red Sea.

Greene opined that the attacks in Yemen might escalate tensions between the United States and Iran, an ally of the Houthis.

“The President must come to Congress for permission before going to war. Biden can not solely decide to bomb Yemen.” Greene said in a post on X.

“Biden admin wants to fund war in Ukraine, control the war in Israel, arm Taiwan and prep for war with China, and is now going to war in the Middle East??? This is insanely out of control!” she added.

Biden had harshly criticized former President Trump’s 2020 airstrikes against a top Iranian official. At fact happily pointed out by Greene, who went on to emphasis the President’s complete hypocrisy on the matter.
