Wednesday, according to a widely disseminated letter, a senior official in Biden’s education department has now tendered his resignation in protest of President Joe Biden’s management of the Israel-Hamas conflict.

In a letter to Education Secretary Miguel Cardona, Tariq Habash, a policy advisor in the Office of Planning, Evaluation, and Policy Development of the Education Department, tendered his resignation on the grounds that the administration, in his opinion, has ignored the atrocities inflicted upon Palestinians during the Israeli war against Hamas.

Biden has vowed to aid Israel in its conflict with Hamas ever since the terrorist group stormed the country on October 7, resulting in the barbaric murder, rape, and abduction of approximately 1,400 Israelis.

The steadfast support of Israel has encountered mounting opposition from individuals affiliated with Biden’s campaign, his own allies, and members of his administration.

A letter was authored by seventeen unidentified individuals affiliated with Biden’s re-election campaign on Wednesday, urging the president to declare a ceasefire.

The letter further stated that campaign volunteers are resigning in “droves” due to the president’s pro-Israel position.

A November letter stated that several State Department officials also demanded that the president issue a ceasefire call.

Presidential allies have cautioned that Biden’s intimate associations with Israel may result in his failing to secure the support of young Americans during the 2024 election.
