The individual referred to as the “QAnon Shaman” on January 6, 2021, while traversing Congress while adorned in a fur-trimmed cap with horns, has declared his intention to seek election to Congress. He intends to submit his petition in the 8th Congressional District of Arizona.

According to a new report, the 35-year-old filed a statement of intent on Thursday indicating that he intends to run on the Libertarian Party ticket.

This follows the declaration by Debbie Lesko, the incumbent Republican, that she will not be seeking re-election in 2024. She has 64 years of age.

As a result of his conviction for Obstructing an Official Proceeding, Chansley was sentenced to prison.

Upon his release in March 2023, he was placed in a halfway home. His attorney, Albert S. Watkins, issued a statement at the time.
