According to a new poll from Gallup, President Joe Biden’s popularity rating among Democrats fell to a historic low. Analysts speculated that this was due to Biden’s steadfast support for Israel in the wake of Hamas’ terrorist assault earlier this month.
About 75% of Democratic respondents, according to the poll issued on Thursday, are in favor of Biden’s presidency, an 11-point decline from the previous month’s survey.
Independents’ replies decreased by 4 points from September, meaning that the president has about 35% of the polled group’s approval.
However, Republican respondents’ opinions of Biden’s leadership have not altered; the poll indicates that they have a mere 5% approval rating.
Biden’s overall approval rating fell to 37%, down 4 points from the previous survey.
Based on the study, Biden identified with about 68% of Americans who continue to support Israel to a great extent.
Following a survey of 1,009 respondents with a 4 percentage point margin of error, Gallup released the results.
The outcomes were announced two weeks after Hamas carried out a horrific terrorist attack on Israel that, according to accounts, resulted in over 1,400 fatalities, over 5,200 injuries, and over 200 kidnappings.
