Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida) stated on Monday that Israel “has no choice” but to annihilate Hamas in Gaza after it launched the deadliest attack in Israeli history.
The vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Marco Rubio, acknowledged that such an action will come at a “horrifying price.”
“Israel has no choice but to seek the complete eradication of Hamas in Gaza,” Rubio said in a statement on social media.
“There simply is no diplomatic solution or “measured response” available.” he continued.
“This tragically necessary effort will come at a horrifying price. But the price of failing to permanently eliminate this group of sadistic savages is even more horrifying.” he added.

Israel has already launched hundreds of rocket assaults on Gaza in retaliation for Hamas attacks that killed at least 800 Israelis.
Rubio, however, argued that it was necessary due to the barbarism of Hamas, a political group that has been elected to govern Israel but has been designated as a terrorist organization by the United States and the European Union.
Saturday’s Hamas assaults against Israel included targeted attacks on civilians, such as those attending a music festival.
Rubio’s remarks presumably reflect the pressure that GOP lawmakers will exert on the Biden administration to firmly support Israel.
President Biden, who has vowed continued support for Israel, announced on Monday that eleven Americans had been killed in the attacks and warned that American citizens are likely to be among the hostages held by Hamas.
