In an interview last week, James Comer, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, reportedly claimed that congressional investigators had received bank data that purportedly showed transfers from Russia to the Biden family.

Comer made the comments this week during an interview with co-host Ben Ferguson on Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) “Verdict” podcast.

“We have more bank records that we’ve received. We’re working on a third memorandum. They will show transactions from Ukraine and Russia.” Comer said during the appearance.

Comer’s comments follow the publication of an FBI-generated FD-1023 from legally protected disclosures by Justice Department whistleblowers by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA).

According to the form, an FBI confidential human source (CHS) claimed that they were informed by Mykola Zlochevsky, the CEO of Burisma, that he was required to pay the Biden family a $10 million bribe in exchange for applying pressure on the Ukrainian government to oust prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was looking into Burisma.
