Rep. Andy Harris (R-Md. ), a board member of the hard-line House Freedom Caucus, has reportedly confirmed that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has been expelled from the group.

After a series of arguments, including one in which she reportedly referred to her colleague Rep. Lauren Boebert as a “bitch” on the House floor, Greene has apparently been expelled from the hardline House Freedom Caucus.

According to Politico, the House Freedom Caucus had a formal vote on Greene’s status last month, according to Rep. Andy Harris, a Maryland Republican who sits on the group’s board.

Boebert, in Greene’s opinion, was co-opting an effort to remove President Joe Biden and his cabinet from office.

This reportedly infuriated Greene.

Boebert was referred to as a “bitch” by Greene on the House floor, and she repeated the slur in a subsequent interview.

Boebert, for her part, claimed that she backed Greene’s remarks on the basis of free speech.

The Republican from Colorado also declined to reveal to the media how she voted on whether or not to fire Greene.

The caucus refuses to divulge a complete list of its members and is exclusive in who it accepts for membership.
