As the investigation into Hunter Biden continues Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, a Republican member of the House Oversight Committee, which is preparing to file charges of contempt of Congress against FBI Director Christopher Wray, reportedly stated Tuesday that the agency and several prominent Democrats are “running cover” to protect the Bidens.
Luna made mention of a rumored informant going by the name of “One-Eye,” who allegedly alerted Hunter Biden’s Chinese friends that they were under investigation.
The former Israeli military commander who made that accusation alleges he was detained in Cyprus as a result of a “politically-motivated extradition request” made by the US. Dr. Gal Luft said in February that he is being persecuted to protect President Biden, his brother James Biden, and his son Hunter.
“It was brought to our attention that there was a mole within the FBI by the name of One-Eye that was updating Hunter on what was currently taking place. So it’s in my opinion that the FBI — one, is definitely not something that we trust at House Oversight, but also — two, that they have an issue within their own institutions with accountability and leaks.” Luna said during a recent Fox News appearance.
The investigation against Hunter Biden has now lasted for five years and across two administrations, and Luna was subsequently questioned why. David Weiss, Trump’s Wilmington-based federal prosecutor, was famously retained by President Biden, ostensibly to prevent claims of conflicts of interest.
She said that Wray’s apparent unwillingness to give her committee a tangible copy of a document that allegedly implicates President Biden in a “bribe” involving foreign persons in exchange for policy decisions was the most recent example of delaying.
“They should have provided the document for Chairman Comer as Speaker McCarthy stated. And what’s happening on Thursday is we will actually be bringing a bill to mark up to hold the head of the FBI in contempt of Congress. So I believe that they’re covering and frankly, it’s a disservice to the American people,” she noted.
