After Vice President Biden stumbled on stage at the Air Force Academy commencement on Thursday, Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley reportedly said the United States would “end up with President Harris” if he wins reelection.

“No one should feel good about watching the President fall. While this is hard to see, we have to be honest with the American people. Our enemies see the same TV clips and wonder who is in charge.” Haley said.

Joe Biden is the oldest president in history, and if he’s reelected, we could end up with a President Harris. This is why I have repeatedly called for mental competency tests and term limits for politicians. It’s time for a new generation of leadership in Washington.” She continued.

After applauding the final batch of Air Force graduates during the event on Thursday, the 80-year-old president fell to the floor on stage. He was unharmed in the event, which he attributed to a stage-side sandbag.

Haley has previously criticized the president’s age, saying it makes it unlikely he will serve out a second term.

Since she started her campaign for the Republican nomination in February, the former American ambassador to the UN has also advocated for laws requiring mental fitness exams for elected officials over the age of 75.
