DOJ Decides Not to Charge Pence in Classified Document Scandal

Former Vice President Mike Pence won’t face charges after secret documents were found at his Indiana residence.

The national security division of the Justice Department notified Pence’s counsel on Thursday that its investigation had been concluded and that no charges against the former vice president will be brought as a consequence of its findings.

The outcome of the inquiry by special counsel Jack Smith into the handling of secret information by former president Donald Trump may also be in question.
