In a tweet on Wednesday, Ana Kasparian, a co-host of the leftist series “The Young Turks,” reportedly attacked her fellow liberals for using phrases like “birthing person” to describe females instead of “woman.”
These terms have been proposed as alternatives to the word “woman” in an effort by prominent Democrats and liberals to broaden the scope of the discourse to include biological men who identify as women.
“I’m a woman. Please don’t ever refer to me as a person with a uterus, birthing person, or person who menstruates. How do people not realize how degrading this is? You can support the transgender community without doing this sh*t.” Kasparian wrote

Conservatives were quick to both agree with Kasparian while pointing out that her position would soon put her at odds with her own side:

They have the right to speak their piece, as do I.

Kasparian is best known for her role as a co-host and producer of “The Young Turks,” an online news and commentary show that covers politics, social justice, and cultural issues.
In addition to her work on “The Young Turks,” Kasparian has also hosted her own talk show, “The Point with Ana Kasparian,” and has been a frequent guest commentator on various news networks, including MSNBC and CNN.
Kasparian is well know for her far-left and progressive views which makes her break with liberals over the issue of pro-trans language all the more significant.
