The bodycam footage of the attack on former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband by a deranged individual wielding a hammer has finally been released by San Francisco police.
The tape was made public by the San Francisco County Superior Court after Judge Stephen Murphy dismissed prosecutors’ bid to keep it hidden two days earlier.

Paul Pelosi, 82, was taken to the hospital on Oct. 28, 2022, for emergency surgery on a skull fracture.
David DePape, 42, has pled not guilty to all of the state counts brought against him in the case, including attempted murder, assault with a dangerous weapon, and elder abuse. He has also pleaded not guilty to federal counts of injuring a federal official’s direct family member and attempting to abduct a federal officer for the alleged home invasion.
