Kari Lake, the Republican gubernatorial candidate, leads her Democratic opponent, Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, by 49.2% to 46.4%, slightly inside the poll’s 2.9-point margin of error. Republican Blake Masters (46.4%) is behind Democratic incumbent Sen. Mark Kelly (47.4%).
The poll was conducted on October 16-17 and included responses from 1,078 probable 2022 general election voters.
President Joe Biden’s unpopularity is one of the main advantages Republicans have in Arizona.
According to the Real Clear Politics average of recent polls, Lake has a small lead against Hobbs.
Hobbs has called Lake a “conspiracy theorist” on many occasions.
Hobbs has claimed that her unwillingness to debate is better for Arizona voters than a discussion with Lake.

Masters has centered his campaign on Kelly’s voting record with Biden; during the last two years, the two Democrats have agreed 94% of the time.
“Mark Kelly is carpet bombing the airwaves pretending to be an independent. … He’s not an independent. Actually, he votes in lockstep for Joe Biden’s agenda.” Masters said during an interview with The Daily Wire.
In addition former Democrat star Tulsi Gabbard hit the campaign trail in Arizona to support both Masters and Lake as election day approaches.
