A young Democratic staffer was gunned down in cold blood on Thursday in Philadelphia for apparently no reason, and the vicious attack was caught on video.

Everett Beauregard stepped off a train a few streets from his residence shortly before 12:30 a.m. Thursday after leaving a party with pals at a South Philadelphia club, according to police.

That’s when he ran into the suspect.

The video shows Beauregard passing the suspect, the latter then immediately turned around and opened fire with seemingly no provocation.

It does not appear that robbery was a motive for the shooting as the suspect did not attempt to steal anything from Beauregard.

Beauregard was hit once in the neck and the bullet severed his spinal cord.

Beauregard was attending Temple University and had previously held a leadership role in the Democratic party during the 2020 election cycle and had also served as a former intern to Congressman Brendan Boyle.

Bolye released a statement soon after the news of Beauregard’s death broke: “I am heartsick to learn this senseless epidemic of gun violence has struck a member of my team. Everett worked for my campaign during the 2018 election season. He made great contributions to our electoral victory that year…He was a nice, well-liked, and purposeful young man with a bright future ahead of him.” The statement read.

The true motive behind Beauregard remains a complete mystery.

Anyone with information about the killing is asked to call 215-686-3334/3335, a $20,000 reward is currently being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
