Tom Homan, the incoming border czar, announced on Monday that the Trump administration will intensify workplace investigations as part of its ongoing immigration enforcement efforts.
In an interview with “Fox & Friends,” the former director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) stated that workplace inspections would be implemented to combat sex trafficking and labor.
“Where do we find most victims of sex trafficking and forced labor trafficking? At worksites,” Homan said.
In his capacity as border czar, Homan intends to prioritize any and all public safety threats and national security threats for deportation.
However, Homan stated that foreign nationals who have been issued deportation orders “became fugitive,” implying that immigrants who do not have criminal records but have been issued definitive deportation orders would also be prioritized for deportation.
